The fruit ripens to a deep red or almost black color and has a slightly sweet, smoky taste. 'Paul Robeson' is a handsome dark maroon tomato that bears medium-sized fruits with a complex taste. It is an indeterminate plant, and the fruits mature about 75 days from transplanting.
