Thai Chili Hot Pepper(Capsicum annuum). Thai hot peppers are one of the most diverse, easily recognizable varieties. With nearly 80 different types of Thai pepper, the hot Thai registers at 50,000-100,000 SHU, about 10x more sizzle than a jalapeño. The 2-3″ long, slender, pointy peppers are scorching and perfect in nam phrik, the hot pepper condiment on every Thai table. Compared to commercial Thai pepper varieties, Thai plants are a bit smaller in stature, fruit is a bit larger, and nearly every one ripens by frost. Very Hot. 90 days.
