Golden Detroit Beet round, orange roots stay gold-yellow when cooked and have a very sweet taste even when large. A beautiful beet that won't bleed like red beets. Same texture and flavor as red beets without the red juice. The greens are delicious too. A dual-purpose vegetable, the deep green tops can be cooked like swiss chard.
