Double Standard, Sweet Corn,

Double Standard is the first bicolor, open-pollinated sweet corn. It is early maturing, with strong germination in cool soil. This hardy corn was developed for northern gardeners. This variety is early maturing and has excellent germination and pollination. Vigorous five-foot plants. It produces nice-sized ears, avg. 7", with 12-14 rows of yellow and white kernels. The side shoot suckers will produce slightly smaller ears. It is almost like it produces "double" the standard corn varieties. except twice as many ears per stalk compared to "regular" sweet corn. Excellent traditional corn taste. Naturally Grown. 73 days.
