Bright crimson stalks, midribs, and veins contrast nicely with the dark green, slightly savoyed leaves of this variety. Mature plants grow to about 2 tall with narrow stalks: dark reddish-green, heavily crumpled leaves, beautiful crimson stalks, and veins. A vigorous grower with a long growing season will provide fresh greens from early summer into fall and year-round in mild climates. Young leaves are great for salads. Great container variety.
