The Echinacea plant has Large, deep purplish-pink blooms with contrasting orange cones standing above solid stems. Once established, bushy plants produce clusters of flowers attracting butterflies and beneficial insects to your garden and making dramatic, long-lasting cut flowers. One of the easiest Echinacea to grow. It does well in average soil and is highly adaptable. Heat and drought tolerant. Excellent addition to butterfly gardens. Perfect for fresh-cut flowers. Echinacea species are native to North America and were used by the Great Plains Indian tribes. Later, settlers followed the Indians’ example and began using Echinacea. Archaeologists have found evidence that Native Americans may have used Echinacea for over 400 years.
