The Nadapeno pepper is a tamed selection of jalapeno bred by A.P. Whaley Seed Company of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Love the crunch and flavor of jalapeño, but can't take the heat? This truly heat-less jalapeño is perfect for those sensitive to the spiciness of traditional jalapeño peppers. This unique variety was developed by carefully selecting fruit with less heat but with all of the other characteristics of jalapeños over numerous generations, finally arriving at a pepper with no heat yet loaded with flavor. No gloves are needed for chopping or slicing! Sturdy plants produce heavy yields of three-inch-long jalapenos that have all the flavor with absolutely no heat. Attractive fruits are 3" long, ripen from green to red, and are great for fresh use, stuffing and roasting. Plants produce heavy yields. Excellent for pickling, stuffing, poppers, and salsa. This variety is prolific and very early! Great for making kid-approved jalapeno poppers and salsa. Harvests begin approximately 55 days from transplant.
