Golden Bantam Sweet Corn

An earlier version of the famous Golden Bantam Sweet Corn, America's favorite sweet corn. 5-6″ cobs have eight rows of broad, golden-yellow kernels. Smaller 5-6 foot tall plants can be spaced closer together. Germinates well in cold soils. Good old-time corn flavor, Best enjoyed freshly picked, or you can freeze it immediately for later use. It freezes well on the cob. Tender kernels and stalks often have two ears. Will tolerate tight spacing and dry conditions. Best eaten right after harvesting. 70-80 days. An early, reliable corn is very popular for good reason.
