Florida Market eggplant plants are hardy and resistant to most diseases. They produce 9.5-inch by 6.5-inch fruits that are teardrop-shaped. Fruits are dark purple and glossy. Plants grow 30-38 inches tall and have a long harvest season even in the heat. Fruits should reach their full size and be ready for harvest in 80-90 days, Eggplants are excellent grilled, baked, fried, or stuffed.
