Northern Pickling Cucumber is an old heirloom dating back to 1877. Vigorous vines give large yields of smooth green fruit. It is excellent for pickles; very crisp and of good quality. Produces heavy and continual yields of 3-6 inch fruits, perfect for pickling. The dark green, blunt-ended cucumbers can also be used in salads! A very popular variety at the turn of the 20th century. Average time to maturity: 57 days
