It is also known as Vit, Corn Salad, Lamb Lettuce, and Mâchè. A Gourmet Green for Quick Salads! The tender, delicate leaves have a nutty flavor with a mint hint, very satisfying in quick salads or lightly cooked like spinach. Corn Salad can be picked outdoors between November and January, when home-grown salads are rare. If you're new to corn salad, you're in for a treat!
