Heirloom Hot Pepper Poblano Ancho Grande is larger than the Ancho. One of the most popular chilies in Mexico. The Ancho is widely used in mole sauces. The peppers are known as Ancho when dried and Poblano when fresh. The peppers are typically 4 to 5 inches in length, mild in heat, and mature from dark green to reddish-brown in approximately 80 days.
