Amish Snap Pea was being grown in the Amish community long before present snap pea types were developed. Vines grow 5-6 tall and are covered in medium-sized 2-3 inch translucent green pods. They have a sweet and crisp flavor. Yields well over six weeks if kept picked. Delicate and sweet even when the seeds develop. The harvest is generally abundant and lasts several weeks. Regular picking is necessary. Snap, 60-70 days.
