Wando Peas

One of the most productive peas in warm weather. Also tolerant of cold for early sowing. Fine quality, fresh or frozen. It was released in 1943 with much fanfare because, unlike many peas, it tolerates heat. If you have to plant late or want a continuous supply of English peas, grow the delicious Wando pea. Sow late in the season to extend your pea harvest. Compact 18" - 30" plant doesn't require staking. 3-4" pods filled with 6-8 dark-green peas. The delicate sweet flavor when young.
